Hindi Diwas Celebration 2025

Event: Hindi Diwas Celebration

Date: 18.09.2025

Venue: Al-Barkaat Institute of Education (ABIE)

The Al-Barkaat Institute of Education celebrated Hindi Diwas on 18th September 2025. Although Hindi Diwas is officially observed on 14th September every year, the celebration at ABIE was held on 18th September due to Sunday being a holiday.

Hindi Diwas, or National Hindi Day, is celebrated annually to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of the Union of India by the Constituent Assembly in 1949. The day aims to promote the Hindi language and its cultural significance through various activities and competitions organized across educational institutions in the country.

Students from the B.Ed. First Semester (Session 2025–27) and B.Ed. Third Semester (Session 2024–26), actively participated in the cultural programme. The students showcased their talent and enthusiasm by presenting Hindi poems, couplets (dohas), and speeches highlighting the importance of Hindi Diwas.

The principal and faculty members also expressed their views on the significance of the Hindi language and encouraged everyone to take pride in using Hindi as a means of communication and cultural expression.

The celebration concluded with great zeal, promoting love and respect for the Hindi language among all participants.
