On October 1, 2025, Al-Barkaat Educational Society (ABES) had the honor of hosting the Mission Nari Shakti 5.0 Program, organized by the Police Department, Aligarh (U.P.). Mission Shakti 5.0 is a flagship women’s empowerment initiative launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on September 22, 2025, to promote women’s safety, awareness, and empowerment among young girls and women.

The program focused on creating awareness about cyber safety, preventive measures, and various issues related to women’s security. Ms. Sangeeta Singh, Commissioner, Aligarh, motivated the students to stay informed, vigilant, and fearless in confronting real-life challenges.

Officers from the Police Department also shared valuable insights on digital vigilance, self-defense strategies, and the importance of immediately reporting suspicious or unlawful activities.

The event proved to be both inspiring and informative, reinforcing the values of self-reliance, confidence, and empowerment among students. Such initiatives play a crucial role in enhancing awareness about personal safety and in strengthening young women’s ability to face challenges with courage, dignity, and determination.
