Workshop on Resume Writing

ABIE’s Placement Cell organized a one-day workshop on resume writing on 17,Feb 2026. The ICT lab of ABIE served as the venue for the workshop, consisted of two sessions.

The session, led by Dr. Afshan Anees, took place from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Students from B.Ed 2nd years actively participated in the workshop. Dr. Afshan emphasized the significance of resumes in professional life, explaining various types of resumes and providing examples. She outlined the steps involved in resume writing, offering tips on creating an effective and impressive resume. Additionally, she introduced the concept of cover letters, highlighting their importance in showcasing brief, impactful summaries of achievements.

During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to create their own resumes and cover letters. The second session, commencing at 12:00 noon, allowed participants to discuss and refine their resumes and cover letters under Dr. Afshan Anees guidance.
